Our mission is to foster sustainable growth through co-creation and co-innovation. We believe that international and cross-sectorial collaboration is the only way to address global challenges to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement. In a world where innovative technologies and disruptive business models redefine conventional industries, UNNATI enables R&D intensive MNEs, leading researchers, impact investors, innovative startups and entrepreneurs to access external capabilities and build integrated, deployable system solutions. India is an emerging startup hub, ranking 3rd globally with over 1000 tech startups registered in 2017. India also boast a unique ecosystem to testbed frugal innovations with long-term potential to address global challenges. Sweden is often positioned at the top of global innovation rankings, and has long-proven experience in developing sustainable technologies and holistic systems to improve living standards and reduce environmental impact. We bridge Indo-Swedish Innovators for strategic business development to address global challenges. That is the UNNATI way.
In the spirit of the India Sweden Joint Declaration on Innovation Partnership for a Sustainable Future, UNNATI is a stand-alone initiative creating on-the-ground collaboration through user-case driven innovation challenges. Supported by industry, the operational activities are coordinated by Business Sweden, The Swedish Trade and Invest Council, in collaboration with AGNIi - Invest India and ATAL Innovation Mission – NITI Aayog.
